Terms and conditions
Version: PH-TERMS-2026-09-25-v3. Effective date: 25 September 2026.
1. Operator
These Terms govern your use of credum.ph and app.credum.ph (the Service), operated under the Credum brand by Summarum Media Oy, a Finnish limited company, registered in the Finnish Trade Register since 5 May 2017, Business ID 2823017-4, EU ID FIFPRO.2823017-4, VAT ID FI28230174. Address: Saastopankinranta 10 D, 00530 Helsinki, Finland. Service and privacy contact: [email protected].
2. Acceptance and a copy of the Terms
When you ask Credum to compare and refer your application, you enter into an electronic agreement with us for the Service and accept the version of these Terms presented with your application. You may save or print this page.
Your acceptance of these Terms is distinct from optional marketing choices and from any additional data-processing consent required by a participating programme. We record the accepted document versions, your choices and the time of confirmation. The Privacy Policy explains those records and our two-year retention period.
3. Requirements for using the Service
You must be at least 18, have legal capacity to apply, act on your own behalf and provide only your own information. You must have legitimate access to the email address and telephone number you give us, provide truthful, current and complete answers, and use the Service for a genuine application in the Philippines. A lender may impose additional age, residence or other eligibility requirements.
You must not impersonate another person, submit abusive or fraudulent applications, evade security controls, introduce malicious software, test other people’s credentials, extract information in bulk or use the Service unlawfully.
4. What Credum does
Credum receives and saves your application, checks the required information, applies participating programmes’ eligibility criteria, avoids duplicate referrals and selects and orders available programmes. We may send the necessary application information to more than one lender, broker or credit marketplace. We display their responses and continuation links, or alternatives when no offer is returned.
Some programmes can be consulted while you complete later questions once the required acceptance and sharing permissions have been recorded. Responses may arrive at different times and more than one offer may be displayed. Completing an application does not oblige you to accept a loan.
5. What Credum does not do
Credum is not a bank or lender. We do not accept deposits, advance funds, decide whether credit is granted or set a lender’s interest, fees, repayment schedule or disbursement date.
We do not guarantee approval, any requested or displayed amount, a particular rate or total cost, availability of every lender, continuing availability of an offer or permanently accurate information supplied by third parties. A displayed response may be an invitation to continue rather than final credit approval. Your loan is governed by the agreement you enter into directly with the lender.
6. Market coverage, remuneration and ordering
The Service is free for applicants. Credum may receive remuneration from partners for referrals, applications, acceptances, clicks, conversions or funded loans. Commercial relationships, expected remuneration, eligibility, availability and previous programme performance can influence which programmes are consulted and the order of offers.
We compare participating programmes, not the whole Philippine market, and do not provide independent financial advice. The first displayed option is not necessarily the best option for your circumstances. Compare the effective interest rate, fees, taxes, net amount received, repayment dates, total amount payable and consequences of late payment before choosing a lender.
7. Participating lenders and providers
Our Philippine application partner is Credy Philippines. We use the programmes relevant to your answers and required permissions; an application is not automatically sent to every listed company. See Recipients of Application Data for the information shared with each recipient.
Following a continuation link takes you to a third party. That party is responsible for its own assessment, website, loan agreement, disbursement, servicing, collections, cancellation rights and subsequent use of your information. Read its terms and privacy notice before continuing.
8. Data and information you provide
Review your answers before submitting them. We check format and consistency but cannot establish that every answer is true. Correct mistakes before submission. Information already sent to a programme may be locked in the form to preserve the consistency of its response; contact [email protected] and the receiving provider if you need a correction.
Do not provide banking passwords, PINs, card security codes, full payment-card numbers, document photographs, medical records or another person’s information. Credum does not charge an advance payment to release a loan.
9. Automated operation
We use automated rules to match your application with programme requirements and order results. These rules can consider the requested amount and term, age, information required by the programme, previous responses, duplicate referrals and commercial performance. They determine referrals and presentation, not a lender’s final credit decision.
To report an error in our referral process or exercise an applicable right to an explanation or review, contact [email protected]. We provide explanations, corrections and review to the extent required by applicable law. We cannot require a lender to approve an application.
10. Offers, redirects and contracting with third parties
Before entering into a loan, check the lender’s identity and official contact details, any registration or authority required for its activity, the effective interest rate and total cost, fees and taxes, the amount you receive, repayment schedule, security or guarantees, late-payment consequences, cancellation or early-payment rights, privacy notice and complaint procedure.
Use the official SEC or BSP resources appropriate to the lender. Do not rely on a logo or a promise of guaranteed approval in exchange for an advance fee. Credum’s listing is not regulatory approval of the lender or a recommendation to borrow.
11. Communications
We provide information about the application you initiate through the Service and may send communications needed to handle it. These service communications are separate from advertising.
Optional marketing uses the separate choice presented to you and includes a way to unsubscribe. Withdrawing marketing permission does not cancel an application already referred or prevent a receiving lender from contacting you about it under that lender’s own privacy notice and lawful grounds.
12. Applications prepared with AI
If you choose to use a compatible AI assistant, it can help prepare your answers but cannot accept these Terms, give consent, confirm your application or promise approval on your behalf. Its provider handles your conversation under its own terms.
A Credum review link contains a private code and expires after at most one hour. Before you confirm the review, the prepared information is held temporarily in encrypted form and is not a submitted lender application. You must review the information and confirm personally. Do not share the review link.
13. Access to results and account security
You do not need a password-based Credum account. We use encrypted session cookies and private links or codes to maintain your application session and allow access to results. Do not share private links or codes or leave your session accessible on a shared device. Contact [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
14. Intellectual property
Except for third-party materials, the Service’s software, design, text, branding and databases belong to Credum or its licensors. You may use them for lawful personal access to the Service. These Terms do not grant permission to reproduce, resell, systematically extract or commercially exploit them. Any restrictions apply only to the extent permitted by law. Partners’ names and materials belong to their respective owners.
15. Availability and operational changes
Maintenance, technical failures and changes by participating providers can interrupt the Service or affect available programmes. We may correct errors, suspend features or remove a programme. These changes do not retrospectively change rights already acquired or a loan agreement you have entered into with a lender.
Offers and continuation links can expire. An expired link may be replaced by alternatives rather than reopening the original offer.
16. Liability
Credum is responsible for its own Service to the extent required by applicable mandatory law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, our own legally attributable data-protection breaches or non-waivable consumer rights.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an available basis without a warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation, constant programme availability, permanent accuracy of third-party information, approval or suitability of an offer for a particular purpose.
Credum is not a party to the loan agreement. Except where loss results directly from a breach legally attributable to us, we are not responsible for a partner’s decisions, offers, communications, assessment, disbursement, charges, collection or performance of a loan; changes after you leave our Service; third-party website content or privacy practices; incorrect information supplied by you; misuse of your device or private access links; or events outside our reasonable control.
Where the law permits, we exclude indirect or consequential losses, lost profits and lost opportunities not caused directly by our own breach. Liability that can lawfully be limited is confined to proven, reasonably foreseeable direct loss caused by our breach. These limits do not remove mandatory remedies, statutory duties or rights that cannot be waived.
17. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains the data we collect, the purposes and permissions for its use, storage and protection, sharing, two-year retention and your rights. The Cookie Policy describes cookies and browser storage. Accepting these Terms does not give unlimited permission to use your information for unrelated purposes.
18. Complaints and the Philippine authorities
For a complaint about Credum’s own comparison, referral or privacy practices, contact [email protected]. You need not contact us first if you prefer to approach a competent authority.
The Securities and Exchange Commission deals with lending and financing companies within its jurisdiction; the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas handles matters involving institutions within its supervision. Privacy complaints may be addressed to the National Privacy Commission. These links do not imply that Credum is a regulated lender or endorsed by an authority. Further details are on our complaints page.
19. Law and jurisdiction
These Terms are subject to the laws applicable to the Service in the Philippines. Credum’s Finnish establishment does not remove mandatory Philippine consumer protections, applicable data-protection rights or your right to use the authorities and courts competent under applicable law. These Terms do not require you to waive non-waivable rights or submit exclusively to a foreign court.
20. Amendments
We may update these Terms to reflect legal or service changes. We publish the current version and date on this page. Material changes are notified before applying where required and do not retrospectively change a completed application. We obtain a new acceptance when required.
21. Severability
If a provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. The affected provision is interpreted only so far as it remains consistent with mandatory rights and the lawful purpose of the Service.
